Development as a colonial Project

Selling the concept of development to Africa is the best investment the west has done to keep African as their permanent subordinates.

“Development” is the secular religion brought here to keep us colonized, the same as they brought the church here in order to destroy our culture.

Currently the two most dangerous ideologies shadowing Africa’s future are Christianity and the concept of “Development”.

Christianiaty is the religion for the poor which promises good life to Africans after their death, while collecting their money now.

Development is the religion for the educated ones, which promises good life to Africans at the condition that they become White (at least after they would think, act, and behave like whites), while white make money teaching the black people how to become like a white.

Religion as a colonization tool is well understood, but development as a colonization tool is not well understood, but embraced with a high dose of naiveté.

The first biggest trap of the concept of “development” is to be understood as “making Africa to be and look like Europe”.

That understanding is promoted by the white institutions like the UN, the EU, the US, because the concept of development has the value to keep Africans eternal losers and feeling inferior.

The concept of development means “white” is the model, and “black” has to learn and copy the model to catch up.

That’s utterly wrong. It’s sickening to think that way, not only culturally, but also economically.

Let’s me give some examples.

If you want to build a house following a European architectural style, not only the winner of the contract will be an European company (because they have longer and more experience in that kind of architecture than the locals), but also, the main materials will be imported from Europeans companies.

If our people want to live like Europeans, they would develop preference for Europeans fruits and vegetables, for European food, their house equipments, and the winners of that preference would be European companies, not local producers. The European companies would offer better products, because … they are two centuries ahead.

If we want to run our institutions, administrations and governments like Europeans, we would have to hire their experts and consultants because they have more experience than locals, and they would parade with arrogance in the corridors of our institutions, as look after experts.

If we want our school and universities to be organized and managed like the Europeans, we run the risk of teaching our kids things with no direct connection and impact on their local realities. And they’d end up identifying more with Europeans than Africans.

If our project is to copy Europe, we have therefore voluntary chose the risk of putting ourselves into slavery. They already have proven solutions and models they would just dump here. You can not beat the dog at his own game.

We need our own models. It’d be very difficult to get started, but we will be the experts in our models, not the permanent students of alien models.

What I’m saying here is difficult for many to understand. How can I explain differently?

If you want a Japanese food, you’d always trust first a Japanese chef, even if he is not the best, or better than the African chef trained in Japanese cuisine.

If you want a Chinese house style, you’d always trust first a Chinese architect, even if he is not the best, or better than the African architect trained in Chinese architecture.

If you want social-democratic political system, you go to a Scandinavian expert or consultant,  even if he is not the best, or better than the African political graduate trained in Scandinavian social democracy systems.

If you want to learn how to colonize, you go to a British, or a Jew.  If you want to listen to the best Jazz, African Americans are the most authentic. If you want a Scandinavian house style, you go to IKEA.

You got the idea.

Those who have created a model, system, or a brand first, would always be preferred to the followers.

For example in New York, there are many Africans who speak French language better than their counterpart indigenous French, unfortunately american families usually put in their advert “We are looking for a native French or a person whose mother language is French”.

The African would show up, but his chance to get the job is lower, than the least qualified French lady in New York. Regardless of their skills, they are not hired by the employers.

A homeless European would look more legitimate in talking about European societies even if the black man has read all the books about Europe.

Without creating our authentic models, systems, brand, we are just fooling ourselves, just looking like clever parrots, insecure in a heartless world, easily prey to manipulations, constantly seeking to be integrated into other people world. (To be the first black to go to a Chinese school, the first black to kiss Buddha belly, the first black doctor in Japan, the first black to eat French fries, etc.). Ridiculous we became.

Be careful. Don’t fall for the development concept. It’s a trap, well orchestrated by the world bank, the IMF, the EU, and the world domination apparatus of the white man.
