Dr. Ampoma-Amaako emphasized that nuclear power is a low-carbon option that can provide affordable electricity for industrial applications, contingent on strategic investment. These remarks were made during a workshop organised by the Nuclear Regulatory Authority for journalists in the Northern Region on Monday, August 25, 2025, which took place at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).
