Tunisia’s Back-to-School: Textbook Geolocation App Launched

The new mobile app, built on geolocation technology, aims to quickly direct users to bookstores that have the specific textbook they require. This application complements the existing search tool already available on the CNP’s official website, marking a significant step towards utilizing technology to improve educational infrastructure. According to CNP’s CEO, Karim Daoud, in an interview with TAP agency, the app and other additions are the main highlights for the upcoming 2025-2026 academic year. Regarding distribution, a considerable amount of textbooks have already been delivered to various regions, with complete delivery in some areas. The aim is to have all textbooks available nationwide by the end of the next week, ensuring that students across Tunisia have the resources they need.
The CNP is also emphasizing its social and inclusive role, notably through the provision of Braille textbooks to assist students with visual impairments.
