Call for Monitoring and Evaluation Specialists: iDICE Programme in Nigeria’s Tech Sector
The Nigerian Federal Government, backed by financial support from the African Development Bank (AfDB), the Agence Française de Développement (AFD), and the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), is seeking expressions of interest (RfEOI) from qualified Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Specialists. This initiative is a crucial part of the Investment in Digital and Creative Enterprises (iDICE) Programme, designed to boost Nigeria’s burgeoning technology and creative sectors. The project is identified by the reference number 2000200005160 and Project ID No. P-NG-K00-009, with a planned launch date of July 21, 2025.
Responsibilities of the M&E Specialist
The selected M&E Specialist will play a pivotal role in providing implementation leadership for the results monitoring and evaluation of the iDICE Programme. Their responsibilities will encompass overseeing all three key components: Enterprise and Skills Development, Expanding Access to Finance, and Enabling Environment and Institutional Support. The specialist’s work must cover the entire nation to achieve broad impact. Their duties will include developing and implementing the overall M&E strategy and system for iDICE, ensuring robust data collection, analysis, and reporting.
The ideal candidate will be able to lead and oversee all M&E activities across the whole programme. Their expertise will contribute significantly to the success of this initiative, providing valuable insights into the performance and effectiveness of iDICE, and ensuring accountability and transparency throughout its execution within Nigeria’s expanding tech space.
