Qoray Boosts EV Infrastructure in Nigeria with New Fast-Charging Station at Sheraton Lagos Hotel

Qoray, a leading player in Nigeria’s burgeoning electric vehicle (EV) sector, has announced the opening of a new fast-charging station in partnership with the Sheraton Lagos Hotel. This strategic move, unveiled on July 16, 2025, marks a significant step forward in the country’s push towards cleaner transportation, contributing to the growth of the EV ecosystem in the heart of Lagos.

# Expanding EV Accessibility in Lagos

The newly operational charging station is located in the Sheraton Lagos Hotel’s main car park, providing convenient access to all EV drivers. This includes hotel guests, business travelers, and local residents in Ikeja, a key commercial and residential area in Lagos. This installation is a vital addition to Qoray’s network of charging points across the city. The company’s investment complements existing stations at locations like the Lagos Marriott Hotel Ikeja, Adeola Odeku, and Marina. According to Qoray CEO, Olabanjo Alimi, “Our mission is to seamlessly integrate electric vehicle charging into the daily lives of Nigerians.” The new station is intended to address the limited EV charging infrastructure in Nigeria and promote widespread adoption of electric vehicles, particularly in urban areas.

In conclusion, Qoray’s latest initiative is a testament to the commitment to accelerating Nigeria’s EV revolution. By strategically positioning fast-charging stations in accessible locations, Qoray is making electric mobility a practical option and helping to build a more sustainable future for Nigeria.
