Float and Adumo Team Up to Offer Flexible In-Store Payment Solutions
Two South African fintech companies, Float and Adumo, are collaborating to introduce more accessible and adaptable payment options to consumers nationwide. This partnership aims to provide shoppers with increased financial flexibility at major retail outlets throughout South Africa.
In-Store Installment Payments
The collaboration between Float and Adumo enables customers to divide their in-store purchases into four equal, interest-free monthly installments, utilizing their existing credit card limit. This “buy now, pay later” approach allows shoppers to acquire necessary items immediately while managing their expenses through manageable payments, without incurring additional interest or fees. Float, launched in 2021 as Africa’s first card-linked installment platform, aims to empower consumers to use their credit cards more strategically by breaking down payments into smaller, predictable monthly segments.
This partnership between Float and Adumo arrives at a crucial time, as many South Africans actively seek innovative and responsible ways to manage their finances effectively. By offering a seamless in-store installment payment solution, Float and Adumo are contributing to a more financially inclusive and empowered shopping experience.
