Tunisian Startup Cynoia Wins the Provence Africa Connect Prize in Marseille
Tunisian startup Cynoia is continuing its upward trajectory, solidifying its position as one of the most innovative SaaS players on the African continent. Less than a year after being named the Best SaaS Startup in Africa at AfricArena 2024, the company has now won the Provence Africa Connect Prize in Marseille, a key distinction awarded at the Emerging Valley summit, held under the high patronage of French President Emmanuel Macron.
A Pan-African Vision Validated
These two awards, bestowed on two different continents by specialized juries, validate Cynoia’s pan-African vision: to offer a unified, sovereign, and optimized work platform specifically designed for the realities of African SMEs. Nasreddine Riahi, founder and CEO, sees this as confirmation of the continent’s technological potential. According to him, the objective is not just to develop collaboration software, but to “build the future of work in Africa.”
Cynoia’s recent success underscores the growing importance of African tech startups on the global stage. With their innovative solutions and deep understanding of local market needs, companies like Cynoia are poised to drive significant economic growth and development across the continent.
