Mastercard Foundation EdTech Fellowship: Second Cohort Graduates, Impacting Over 70,000 Learners
Twelve Ghanaian EdTech startups have successfully completed the Mastercard Foundation EdTech Fellowship program, significantly impacting the education landscape in Ghana. Implemented by the Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology (MEST) Africa, the second cohort of the Fellowship achieved a nationwide reach of 74,060 learners and 1,152 educators. The program supports innovative, locally-owned businesses to address pressing educational challenges through technology-driven solutions, both online and offline.
Demo Day Highlights Innovation and Impact
The culmination of the six-month acceleration program was a Demo Day, where the EdTech founders showcased the advancements made to their solutions and the positive impact they are having on education across Ghana. The Mastercard Foundation EdTech Fellowship provides valuable resources to participating founders, including mentorship, strategic business development support, and access to a powerful network of industry experts and investors.
