How to Transfer Playlists to Spotify from Other Services
Switching to a new music streaming service can be a daunting task, especially when it comes to moving your carefully curated playlists. Spotify is now simplifying this process, allowing users to seamlessly transfer their playlists from other platforms directly within the Spotify app. This new feature is currently rolling out to all Spotify users.

The “Import Your Music” option is nestled at the bottom of the “Your Library” section within the Spotify mobile app (available on both iOS and Android). To initiate the transfer, launch the Spotify app on your device and navigate to “Your Library.” Scroll down to the bottom, where you’ll find and tap on “Import your music.” Spotify uses TuneMyMusic, a third-party service, to facilitate the transfer. You’ll be guided through prompts to connect your Spotify account to TuneMyMusic. You may need to create a TuneMyMusic account if you don’t already have one or authorize the connection through Spotify. Once connected, you can then select the streaming service you want to transfer your playlists from; available options include Amazon Music.
With this update, Spotify is lowering the barrier to entry and improving user experience. Transferring your playlists from other platforms is now easier than ever. Enjoy building your Spotify library!
