Djezzy Launches “TECH INNOV” National Innovation Hackathon
Djezzy, Algeria’s leading mobile operator, is set to host the inaugural “TECH INNOV” national innovation hackathon from November 20th to 22nd, 2025. This initiative is a collaborative effort with the National Agency for the Valorization of Research Results and Technological Development (ANVREDET) and enjoys the support of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MESRS).
Fostering Algerian Tech Innovation
The hackathon, taking place at the Sidi Abdellah University Technology Center, stems from a partnership established in 2023 between Djezzy and the Ministry of Higher Education. This partnership aims to stimulate research, innovation, and technological entrepreneurship within Algeria. Over three days, the event will bring together students, researchers, and project leaders from universities, higher education institutions, and startups. Participants will collaborate to develop innovative digital solutions addressing pressing challenges across various sectors.
