The French Embassy in Tunisia hosted the official launch of Club IA France-Tunisie on Wednesday, October 22nd, marking the first initiative of its kind. This landmark event, spearheaded by Ambassador of France to Tunisia, Anne Guéguen, signifies a commitment to strengthening collaboration in the field of artificial intelligence between France and Tunisia. The launch saw the presence of key representatives from the founding institutions: Philippe Garcia, Director of North Africa Zone at Business France; Neila Benzina, President of the French Tech Tunis; and Nejia Gharbi, Director General of the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations (CDC).

Fostering Franco-Tunisian AI Synergies

Club IA France-Tunisie convened around thirty key players from the Franco-Tunisian artificial intelligence and digital sectors. The attendees included startups, industrial companies (including large French multinationals), and companies specializing in digital services. The core objective of this initiative is to foster tangible synergies between the artificial intelligence ecosystems of both countries. The club aims to achieve this by encouraging partnerships, facilitating the exchange of knowledge, and promoting joint ventures that leverage the strengths of both nations. The club will serve as a platform for startups and established companies to connect, share ideas, and explore opportunities for collaboration in the rapidly evolving field of AI.
