# Pioneering AI Solutions from Tunisia and Morocco

The investment targets two distinct yet equally innovative AI solutions. Anavid, a Tunisian startup co-founded by Ahmed Chaari and David Nilsson, offers an intelligent AI-powered solution designed to revolutionize the retail sector. By seamlessly integrating with existing retail camera systems, Anavid aims to substantially reduce shoplifting losses while simultaneously enhancing the overall customer experience. This addresses a critical challenge for retailers by leveraging computer vision and AI for actionable insights. Hypeo AI, on the other hand, is a Moroccan startup spearheaded by Meriam Bessa and Salah Eddine Mimouni. Their AI-driven Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform automates every facet of influencer marketing. From precise brand matching and meticulous content validation to streamlined payment processing, Hypeo AI simplifies and optimizes the entire influencer campaign lifecycle for businesses. Both firms are set to join Madica’s comprehensive 18-month program, which will connect them to Madica’s extensive global investor network, providing invaluable resources and strategic pathways for accelerated growth and long-term success.

Emmanuel Adegboye, Head of Madica, articulated the program’s vision, stating, “At Madica, we believe and continue to prove that some of the world’s most transformative ideas come from places that are too often ignored. The founders we’ve just welcomed are visionary entrepreneurs addressing real-world problems with innovative AI solutions that have immense potential.” This investment reinforces Madica’s role in identifying and empowering promising African tech ventures, reinforcing the continent’s growing reputation as a hub for innovation and technological advancement.
