Entertainment Week Africa’s 2025 Deal Room Opens Doors for Tech Startups with ₦25M Funding Opportunity

Entertainment Week Africa (EWA), the continent’s premier multi-sector creative summit, is set to host its highly anticipated 2025 Deal Room. This initiative aims to accelerate capital access and foster creative innovation for promising tech ventures across Africa. With a keen focus on empowering founders, the Deal Room offers a significant opportunity for startups to secure crucial investments, potentially up to ₦25 million, as they connect with influential investors and institutions driving the future of the continent’s dynamic creative economy.

Catalyzing Growth in Africa’s Creative Economy

EWA stands as a cornerstone event, attracting over 53,000 attendees and featuring more than 240 speakers across various industries. Its Deal Room is meticulously designed as a three-day accelerator program culminating in a Demo Day, providing an invaluable platform for founders and creatives. Participants will gain intensive support to sharpen their business models, refine investor-ready pitches, and forge direct connections with key players shaping Africa’s $20 billion creative economy. The program has a proven track record, having facilitated over $1 million in investments for participating startups since its inception. Notable success stories include Esosa, a travel-tech platform serving the African diaspora; Taghub, an AI-powered influencer marketing network; and Synewave, a revenue-sharing platform empowering music artists. The 2025 iteration is poised to build on this success, offering even greater funding prospects. The event will take place from November 18–23, 2025, at the Livespot Entertarium in Lagos, Nigeria, targeting founders and co-founders of innovative tech ventures.

This year’s Deal Room presents an unparalleled opportunity for African tech startups to gain visibility, refine their strategies, and access the capital needed to scale their operations. Aspiring founders of tech ventures should mark their calendars for this pivotal event in Lagos, as EWA continues its mission to transform the investment landscape for creative and tech-driven enterprises across the continent.
