DStv Ghana Subscribers to Receive More Value for Less
Ghanaian DStv subscribers are set to benefit from increased value and potentially lower costs for their television viewing. Thanks to an agreement between the Ghanaian government and MultiChoice Ghana, subscribers will see a significant boost in the content they receive for their money.
Enhanced Value and Upgrades for Ghanaian Subscribers
Starting October 1, 2025, DStv customers in Ghana will experience up to a 50% increase in the value they receive from their subscriptions. According to Communications and Digital Tech Minister Samuel Nartey George, this deal will allow subscribers to either pay less for access to their current DStv package or receive a substantial upgrade to a more comprehensive bouquet. During a press briefing in Accra, the Minister emphasized the exclusive nature of this offer, stating that it is “an unprecedented value offer, available only in Ghana.” For example, subscribers on the GHC59 Padii plan can expect to see increased benefits.
This agreement marks a significant development for digital entertainment access in Ghana, offering more affordable options and enhanced viewing experiences for DStv subscribers. The initiative demonstrates a commitment to providing greater value to consumers within the Ghanaian market.
