Fueling Consumer Engagement Through Tech
The fourth edition of MarkHack, themed ‘Experience Ignited—Fuelling The Consumer Journey’, highlighted the pivotal role of technology and enhanced consumer engagement in modern marketing practices. The conference offered a dynamic program, including insightful keynote speeches, interactive panel discussions, and an exciting startup pitch competition, providing a platform for showcasing disruptive ideas. A particularly engaging breakout session, led by Technext’s Business Chief Anderson Ozakpo, delved into the potential of gamification to revolutionize marketing communications. Victor Afolabi, founder of Eko Innovation Centre and the driving force behind MarkHack, kicked off the event with an inspiring welcome address. He emphasized the remarkable growth and influence of MarkHack over the previous three years, noting the participation of over 6,275 individuals, a broad reach of 15.8 million, 405 participating pitch teams, and the support of 62 partners and sponsors.
