Access Bank Kenya and National Bank of Kenya Streamline Services with Integrated Branch Access
Access Bank Kenya and National Bank of Kenya (NBK) have jointly announced a significant step forward in their integration process, offering customers enhanced convenience through shared branch access. This strategic service integration allows customers of either bank to conduct core transactions at any of the combined network’s 100+ branches nationwide.
Enhanced Customer Convenience and Expanded Reach
This integration focuses on providing a seamless banking experience. Tellers at both Access Bank Kenya and NBK branches are now equipped to process key transactions for all customers, regardless of which bank holds their account. These services include viewing account details, making cash deposits and withdrawals, and facilitating funds transfers. According to Ralph Opara, County Managing Director of Access Bank Kenya, this initiative aims to “make banking simpler, faster, and more accessible” and reflects the bank’s commitment to providing greater choice and improved digital services. Importantly, customers can continue using their existing accounts, cards, cheque books, and digital banking platforms without disruption, and all deposits remain secure.
The move signifies a commitment to improving service delivery and expanding reach within the Kenyan market, creating a more customer-centric banking environment. This collaboration allows customers to benefit from a wider network and more accessible banking services across the country.
