Nigeria Film Institute Seeks Transaction Advisory Services for Upgrade and PPP Film Studio
The Federal Government of Nigeria, through the Investment in Digital and Creative Enterprises (iDICE) Programme, is seeking experienced transaction advisory services to facilitate the upgrading of the Nigeria Film Institute (NFI) and the establishment of a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) film studio project. This initiative is part of a broader effort to bolster the nation’s digital technology and creative ecosystem. The iDICE Programme is financed by the African Development Bank (AfDB), Agence Française de Développement (AFD), and the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), under Financing Agreement reference number 2000200005160 and Project ID No.: P-NG-K00-009.
iDICE Programme and its Objectives
The iDICE Programme aims to stimulate entrepreneurship, foster innovation, generate employment opportunities, promote social development, and drive economic transformation within Nigeria. This will be achieved by nurturing growth in the digital technology and creative sectors, leveraging existing investments, and creating synergies with ongoing initiatives across the country. A core element of the programme is enterprise and skills development, which are crucial to achieving the iDICE Programme’s overarching goals. Component 1 of the iDICE program focuses on these key elements.
