He succeeds Marisa Trisolino, who departed in April 2025, and brings to the role over two decades of experience in building and scaling digital infrastructure businesses. His previous roles include senior positions at Google, du, and datamena, where he successfully transformed datamena into a key global digital hub. At datamena, he connected hyperscalers, OTT players, and various enterprises to the burgeoning markets of the Middle East and Africa. Most recently, Jaishankar was advising Arthur D. Little.
