Africa Data Centres and CSSi SA Unite to Boost Cloud Services in South Africa
Africa Data Centres, a key player in providing secure data storage and robust infrastructure, has forged a strategic partnership with CSSi South Africa, a leading cloud service provider. This collaboration aims to significantly enhance cloud service offerings for businesses operating within the region. CSSi SA, known for distributing off-the-grid data centre equipment, will now leverage Africa Data Centres’ established facilities to expand its footprint and provide better data storage capabilities.
Expanding Cloud Capacity and Ensuring Redundancy
The agreement enables CSSi SA to directly install its high-performance racks and servers within Africa Data Centres’ existing infrastructure, effectively becoming a tenant within these secure facilities. CSSi SA will deploy its infrastructure across Africa Data Centres’ locations in both Cape Town and Johannesburg. These sites will be interconnected with high-speed 100GB links, connecting them back to CSSi SA’s CipherVault data centre in Midrand. This network design incorporates up to three tiers of redundancy. This sophisticated setup is engineered to ensure high availability and minimize downtime for clients. In the event of an issue at one facility, others automatically assume responsibility, guaranteeing uninterrupted service.
In conclusion, the partnership between Africa Data Centres and CSSi SA represents a significant step towards improving cloud service offerings in South Africa. The combined resources and expertise of these two companies will strengthen the technological landscape of the region, ensuring reliable, high-performance data storage solutions for local enterprises.
