Institution of Engineering and Technology Ghana Welcomes New President

The Institution of Engineering and Technology, Ghana (IET-GH) has officially inaugurated Engr Wonder Davor Salami as its new President, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the organization. Engr Salami’s acceptance speech emphasized the critical role of engineering in driving Ghana’s national development agenda, setting a forward-thinking tone for his presidency.

A New Era for Engineering in Ghana

The inauguration ceremony was a significant event, drawing attendance from prominent engineers and key figures within the Ghanaian engineering community. Engr Salami expressed his sincere appreciation for the trust placed in him and recognized the contributions of the outgoing President, Engr Henry Kwadwo Boateng. He also acknowledged the other presidential candidates – Engr Dr George Eduful, Engr Prof Mike Agbesi Acheampong, and Engr Dr Surv Gyamera – praising their dedication and commitment to engineering excellence.
