The initiative, known as the AI Government Campus, will be delivered through the Apolitical Government AI Campus. This program is designed to train thousands of public servants and government leaders, enabling them to understand and effectively apply AI within their respective roles. This large-scale training program is a joint venture between Google, the Federal Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy (FMCIDE), and Apolitical, underscoring the commitment from both the public and private sectors to drive technological advancement in Nigeria. During the launch event in Abuja, Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Bosun Tijani, emphasized the transformative potential of AI. He noted that AI can significantly boost the operational efficiency of Nigeria’s public institutions, paving the way for improved service delivery and better governance.
