Cercli Secures $12M to Redefine Workforce Management in MENA’s AI Era

UAE-based Cercli, a pioneering workforce platform for enterprises, has successfully raised a substantial $12 million in funding. This strategic investment is earmarked to develop a singular, comprehensive platform enabling businesses to seamlessly manage their human capital, data, and agents, all powered by advanced Artificial Intelligence. The significant capital injection underscores growing investor confidence in innovative HR tech solutions crucial for businesses navigating the modern, AI-driven operational landscape across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

Strategic Investment Fuels Cercli’s Vision for Unified Enterprise Solutions

The latest funding round saw leadership from Germany-headquartered Picus Capital, signaling strong international interest in Cercli’s potential. They were joined by Knollwood Investment Advisory, alongside existing investors Y Combinator, Afore Capital, and COTU Ventures, reaffirming their belief in Cercli’s trajectory. Further bolstering the round were prominent individual investors, including Prabhakar Reddy from OpenFX, Jaime Arrieta from Buk, Marco Ogliengo and Francesco Scalambrino from Jet HR, Francesco Simoneschi from Truelayer, and Mehdi Ghissassi from AI71. Akeed Azmi, co-founder and CEO of Cercli, commented on this milestone, stating, “The growth momentum we’ve seen in the past 12 months has been remarkable and played a key role in attracting talent, customers and investors. Businesses recognise the benefit of a unified platform as a single source of truth in managing their greatest asset, their people. For us, it’s an exciting time to be building for the AI era, as there is a once in a lifetime opportunity to disrupt the enterprise workforce management landscape with AI-driven solutions.” His statement highlights the increasing demand for integrated platforms that offer a holistic view of an organization’s most critical asset: its people.

This capital infusion positions Cercli to aggressively expand its footprint and enhance its AI capabilities across the dynamic MENA region. By offering a unified platform for people, data, and agent management, Cercli aims to empower enterprises with the tools needed to thrive in the evolving workforce ecosystem. This investment not only validates Cercli’s innovative approach but also signals a significant push towards digitizing and optimizing workforce operations within the flourishing African and Middle Eastern tech economies.
