Nigerian Tech Leaders to Speak at FIN Pre-Event Virtual Forum

The Foreign Investment Network (FIN) is set to host a pre-event virtual forum in preparation for its highly anticipated FIN Web Conference & AI Expo 2025. This forum will feature prominent figures in Nigeria’s technology and digital economy landscape, including the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr. Bosun Tijani; the Director General of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi; and the Lagos State Commissioner for Innovation, Science & Technology, Olatunbosun Alake. These key players, along with other dignitaries, will lead discussions during the forum.

Focus on AI and a Sustainable Digital Economy

The pre-event virtual forum, scheduled for Friday, October 10, 2025, from 5 pm to 6 pm GMT, is a precursor to the larger FIN Web Conference & AI Expo 2025. The main conference is slated to take place from November 16-18, 2025, at the Computer History Museum in Silicon Valley, Northern California, United States. The central theme of the event is “Igniting the Future – AI Innovations Shaping a Sustainable Digital Economy, Connecting to Africa.” According to Mr. Ayo Ayeni, FIN’s Director of International Communications, the pre-forum aims to build momentum and generate discussion surrounding the key topics that will be explored at the main expo, focusing on how Artificial Intelligence (AI) can drive growth in a sustainable way, with a specific connection to the African context.

The FIN Web Conference & AI Expo 2025 promises to be a significant event, bringing together global leaders to explore the future of technology. The pre-event forum provides an early opportunity to engage with key stakeholders and gain insights into the evolving landscape of AI and its impact on the digital economy, with a focus on Africa.
