Google Selects Nigerian Startup Infinity Health Africa for Pioneering AI for GovTech Program
Google has chosen Nigeria’s Infinity Health Africa, a prominent regulatory technology and market access firm, to participate in its first-ever Google for Startups Growth Academy: AI for GovTech initiative. This significant selection, highlighting the burgeoning role of Artificial Intelligence in government technology, underscores the innovative approach Infinity Health Africa brings to streamlining public services through AI. The program, a three-month accelerator, focuses on supporting startups that leverage AI to improve public sector operations.
ONBOARD: Revolutionizing Healthcare Regulatory Compliance
Infinity Health Africa, along with twenty-four other startups from across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Turkey, gained entry to the accelerator program. They were selected based on their advanced platform, ONBOARD. This automated tool is designed to simplify and accelerate various aspects of product registration, licensing, and post-marketing surveillance for the healthcare sector. ONBOARD is specifically designed to assist healthcare companies in navigating the complex regulatory landscape of African markets, thereby supporting their market entry endeavors. Another Nigerian startup, E-GovConnect, which is also leveraging data in the healthcare sector, has been included in the inaugural cohort, demonstrating Nigeria’s rising prominence in the GovTech space.
The selection is a validation of Infinity Health Africa’s mission to democratize market access within the African healthcare sector.
