A high-level Ghanaian delegation, led by the Minister of Transport, Joseph Bukari Nikpe, is actively participating in this crucial global forum. The Ghanaian delegation to the ICAO Assembly is comprised of key figures shaping the nation’s aviation landscape. Minister Nikpe is accompanied by John M.K. Wumborti, the Acting Commissioner of the Aircraft Accident and Incident Investigation and Prevention Bureau (AIB); Stephen Wilfred Arthur, the Director-General of the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA); and Yvonne Nana Afriyie Opare, the Managing Director of the Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL). The ICAO Assembly, hosted by Canada, serves as the premier global platform for governments and aviation stakeholders to deliberate on the future trajectory of international civil aviation.
