This significant investment will fuel TERN’s expansion across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region and beyond, addressing the escalating need for qualified clinical professionals. The funding round, led by Notion Capital, saw participation from prominent investors including EQ2 Ventures, RTP Global, LocalGlobe, Leo Capital, Presight Capital, and Tom Stafford of DST Global. This latest injection of capital brings TERN’s total funding to $33 million, building on the momentum of its oversubscribed seed round.
Building a Global Clinical AI Workforce
Founded in 2023 by Avinav Nigam, TERN is pioneering a Clinical AI Workforce platform designed to train, certify, and deploy healthcare professionals from 13 countries into global markets. The company’s primary focus is on serving the GCC, Europe, and the UK, regions experiencing significant demand for skilled healthcare workers. The platform leverages AI to streamline the process of connecting healthcare professionals with opportunities, ensuring a more efficient and transparent system. According to Nigam, TERN’s mission is to build the infrastructure that makes global healthcare careers faster, fairer, and fully transparent.
