TERN Group Secures $24M to Expand AI-Driven Healthcare Talent Platform

TERN Group, a Dubai-based AI-powered platform revolutionizing healthcare talent mobility, has successfully raised $24 million in a Series A funding round. This significant investment will fuel TERN’s expansion across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region and beyond, addressing the escalating need for qualified clinical professionals. The funding round, led by Notion Capital, saw participation from prominent investors including EQ2 Ventures, RTP Global, LocalGlobe, Leo Capital, Presight Capital, and Tom Stafford of DST Global. This latest injection of capital brings TERN’s total funding to $33 million, building on the momentum of its oversubscribed seed round.

Building a Global Clinical AI Workforce

Founded in 2023 by Avinav Nigam, TERN is pioneering a Clinical AI Workforce platform designed to train, certify, and deploy healthcare professionals from 13 countries into global markets. The company’s primary focus is on serving the GCC, Europe, and the UK, regions experiencing significant demand for skilled healthcare workers. The platform leverages AI to streamline the process of connecting healthcare professionals with opportunities, ensuring a more efficient and transparent system. According to Nigam, TERN’s mission is to build the infrastructure that makes global healthcare careers faster, fairer, and fully transparent. He emphasizes the UAE’s central role in this mission, highlighting its importance within the regional healthcare landscape.

This substantial funding will enable TERN Group to further develop its AI-driven platform, broaden its reach, and ultimately contribute to strengthening healthcare systems globally by ensuring access to qualified professionals. The platform’s innovative approach promises to revolutionize healthcare talent mobility, benefitting both healthcare providers and professionals seeking international opportunities.
