TaxTim Acquired: Twofold Capital Leads Consortium to Fuel Growth

South African digital tax assistant, TaxTim, has been acquired by a private investment consortium spearheaded by Twofold Capital. This acquisition signals a new chapter for the platform, allowing co-founder Evan Robinson to continue steering product strategy while providing a full exit for non-operational shareholders. Powering Tax Automation and Expansion

As part of the acquisition, Stellenbosch-based technology group Octoco joins the consortium. Octoco will provide crucial technical and operational support to TaxTim, facilitating the platform’s ambitious growth plans.
