Algeria Highlights Clean Fuel Initiatives at Expo 2025 Osaka
Algeria is actively participating in discussions surrounding alternative fuels and hydrogen at Expo 2025 Osaka, Japan, demonstrating its commitment to sustainable energy solutions. The Ministry of Hydrocarbons and Mines announced Algeria’s involvement in two ministerial meetings focused on alternative fuels for maritime and air transport, as well as hydrogen energy.
Algeria’s Commitment to Sustainable Solutions
Representing the Minister of State, Minister of Hydrocarbons and Mines, Mohamed Arkab, the General Director of Prospective at the Ministry, Miloud Medjelled, is attending the meetings from September 15th to 18th. Medjelled emphasized Algeria’s dedication to developing innovative and sustainable solutions for maritime and air transport, renewable energies, and hydrogen. He stated that these efforts will contribute to achieving carbon neutrality goals and bolstering economic and social development in Africa and the Mediterranean region.
