Algeria’s Strategic Overhaul: New Import Authority and Digital Trade Management
Algeria is embarking on a significant transformation of its foreign trade landscape with the establishment of two new, distinct bodies dedicated to imports and exports. These pivotal changes, alongside the dissolution of the National Agency for the Promotion of Foreign Trade (ALGEX), signal a renewed focus on national economic control and efficiency.
