Zambia to Host Digital Government Africa Summit 2025
Lusaka, Zambia is set to become a hub for digital transformation as it hosts the Digital Government Africa Summit (DGA2025) from October 7th to 9th, 2025. The Electronic Government Division, Smart Zambia Institute (SZI), in collaboration with AfricanBrains, is organizing this high-level summit, bringing together senior government officials, ministers, and digital transformation leaders from across the continent. The event aims to foster collaboration and drive innovation in e-government initiatives.
Driving Citizen-Centric Digital Services
DGA2025 is under the official patronage of the Zambian government and is a joint effort by the Ministry of Technology and Science, the Ministry of Home Affairs and Internal Security, and the Smart Zambia Institute. This collaboration signifies a unified governmental commitment to advancing digital transformation across various sectors. Building upon the momentum of the previous summit, DGA2025 seeks to bolster Africa’s ability to deliver efficient, citizen-centric digital services.
With expectations of attracting over 350 government delegates and confirmed participation from more than 25 high-level ministerial delegations, the summit promises to be a significant platform for knowledge sharing and strategic partnerships.
