Africa’s digital revolution is rapidly gaining momentum, with Digital Government Africa 2025 (DGA2025) leading the charge. Returning to Lusaka this October, the summit promises an even greater emphasis on political leadership, innovation, and collaborative efforts, accelerating the continent’s digital transformation journey.

Key Focus Areas and Participants

DGA2025, held under the patronage of the Zambian government, will welcome participation from over 30 African nations. High-level delegations, including Ministers and senior officials representing crucial sectors like Interior, Finance, ICT, and Digital Economy, will attend. The summit is designed to foster direct, results-oriented discussions between these government representatives and leading e-government solution providers globally. Already, over 350 government officials and more than 25 ministerial delegations have confirmed their participation. The summit builds upon the achievements of its preceding year, enhancing Africa’s ability to offer digital services that prioritize citizens’ needs and experiences.

Vision and Impact

President Hakainde Hichilema’s vision for a digitally integrated Africa sets the stage for the conversations at DGA2025. The summit aims to create a more connected and efficient Africa by leveraging technology, driving citizen-centric services, and promoting economic growth through digital initiatives. By bringing together government leaders, technology experts, and international partners, the event seeks to address critical challenges and opportunities in Africa’s evolving digital landscape.
