Labspace and Hapaspace Launch Accelerator to Propel African Startups onto the Global Stage
Labspace, a Nigerian innovation hub, in collaboration with Ghana’s Hapaspace, unveiled the Venture Boost Accelerator Program on August 21, 2025. The launch coincided with the “From Local to Global: Lessons from African Founders” conference. This intensive program is designed to arm African startups with the tools and knowledge necessary to compete in global accelerator programs, secure funding, and scale their ventures effectively. The conference itself acted as a high-impact kickoff, raising awareness and providing valuable insights to equip African entrepreneurs for international opportunities.
Preparing African Startups for Global Growth
The Venture Boost Accelerator Program aims to bridge the gap between promising African startups and leading global accelerator programs. Over a three-month period, participants will benefit from deep learning sessions, expert mentorship, and networking opportunities with investors and established ecosystem leaders. The ultimate goal is to equip participating startups with the skills and resources required to successfully apply and gain acceptance into prestigious programs like Y Combinator, Techstars, and Founder Institute. Upon program completion, participants will receive a certificate.
