Djezzy Launches Third Data Sciences Immersion Program in Algeria
Djezzy, as part of its ongoing commitment to social responsibility, has announced the third edition of its Data Sciences Immersion Program (DSIP). Following the success of the previous two iterations, this advanced training program is designed to equip Algerian students with critical skills in the field of data science. This initiative underscores Djezzy’s dedication to fostering technological advancement and building local expertise in a rapidly evolving global landscape. This program supports the growing need for data science professionals in Algeria’s tech ecosystem.
Program Details and Participants
The program follows an open call for applications launched in July. From over 800 submitted applications, 50 students were initially shortlisted. Ultimately, 25 students from across Algeria, representing a variety of academic backgrounds, were selected to participate. These students will benefit from a unique professional immersion experience. The curriculum will focus on both the foundational principles and advanced practices of data science. The official launch ceremony for the third DSIP took place on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at Djezzy’s headquarters in Dar El Beïda. The event was attended by Djezzy executives, representatives from Huawei and MajestEye, and, of course, the excited students chosen for the program. This year’s focus is on maximizing program flexibility.
