Algérie Poste Sets September Date for National Recruitment Competition
Algérie Poste has officially announced that its highly anticipated national recruitment competition is scheduled to take place in September. This significant employment drive, which has attracted a massive pool of over 182,000 applicants, represents a major opportunity for job seekers across Algeria. A Shift to a Digital and Remote Format
According to the official communiqué, the competition will be conducted “in a digital and remote format,” a modern approach reflecting the growing trend of digital transformation within public sector entities. This digital written test was originally slated for May 31 but was postponed due to technical problems encountered on the online platform, a common challenge in large-scale digital deployments. The recruitment aims to fill 498 key roles across the country, with a strong emphasis on front-line staff. Of these, a total of 413 positions are for customer service representatives (“chargés de la clientèle”). Algérie Poste has assured applicants that “additional details concerning the organizational arrangements for the competition will be communicated” beginning next week.
