Safaricom’s M-PESA Sokoni Caravan has arrived in Nairobi, marking the final stop of its nationwide tour and bringing a wave of excitement and prizes for Safaricom customers. This tour, which began in June, celebrates the 18th anniversary of M-PESA, East Africa’s leading mobile money platform, and its recent achievement of reaching 50 million customer subscriptions. The Nairobi leg promises a culmination of the celebratory atmosphere experienced across the country.
Celebrating M-PESA: A Nation-Wide Celebration
The M-PESA Sokoni Caravan’s Nairobi tour began in Kibera (Kwa DC) and will make stops in various estates across the city. These locations include Waithaka stage, Zambezi, Limuru stage, and Wangige, ensuring widespread customer engagement. The nationwide tour covered several regions since its launch in June, engaging with customers in the Coast region, Rift Valley, Mt. Kenya region, and Greater Western. Safaricom aims to use the caravan to engage with customers in the market and appreciate their support. The Nairobi leg provides an opportunity for customers to participate in celebrations.
