Selecting Nigeria as the host country underscores the nation’s prominent role in mobilizing domestic capital and driving innovation within the African startup ecosystem.

The ABAN Annual Congress 2025 will operate under the theme “Accelerating Local Capital Participation,” aiming to create actionable strategies that unlock increased capital flows and cultivate a self-sufficient investment environment to nurture ecosystem expansion. Over the past decade, ABAN has successfully mobilized over $35 million in early-stage investments and cultivated a strong network of over 5,000 business angel investors spanning 37 African nations and the diaspora.
