A Foundation in Finance and Tech
Jegede’s educational background provided a strong foundation for his career. He received his primary education from Oritamefa Baptist Model School, Ibadan. His secondary education included a specialization in commerce at Mayflower School, Ogun. He later pursued Accounting and Finance at Ajayi Crowther University. Further expanding his skill set, he spent six months at Ivy Tech Community College in Indiana, adding software development to his expertise. Concurrently, he also qualified as a Chartered Accountant through ICAN. Jegede’s interest in finance stems from the evolution of financial systems. His focus on the cross-border trade space is a deliberate effort to improve how Africans can trade with the world, a critical need for economic growth on the continent.
