Royal Air Maroc (RAM) and Al Barid Bank have jointly launched a groundbreaking digital payment solution at Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca, Morocco. Streamlining Airport Transactions with “Barid Payment Mobile”
The collaborative effort between RAM and Al Barid Bank has yielded “Barid Payment Mobile,” an integrated mobile application. This app operates on tablets equipped with Near Field Communication (NFC) payment terminals. This allows passengers to make contactless payments by tapping their bank cards or smartphones on the terminal. The system replaces traditional, fixed payment terminals, promising a quicker, more efficient, and entirely mobile transaction experience. Travelers can now complete transactions directly on the agent’s mobile device in a secure and streamlined manner. To support the rollout, over 24 specially trained agents will be available to assist passengers throughout the airport, ensuring a smooth transition and providing personalized support.
