UAE-based femtech startup Ovasave, supported by Abu Dhabi’s Hub71, has secured $1.2 million in pre-seed funding to expand its innovative fertility and hormonal health platform across the GCC region, with a particular focus on Saudi Arabia. The funding round was spearheaded by PlusVC, Annex Investments, and 25 Madison, attracting significant participation from angel investors and family offices in both the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
Ovasave’s Digital Approach to Fertility
Founded in 2023 by Majd Abu Zant and Torkia Mahloul, Ovasave is revolutionizing fertility and hormonal health through its comprehensive digital platform. The platform provides at-home hormone testing kits, virtual consultations with specialists, customized supplement plans, and support for women considering egg freezing. Ovasave is also actively partnering with corporations to integrate its fertility and hormone care solutions into employee wellbeing programs, showcasing a commitment to accessible and comprehensive care. The newly acquired $1.2 million in funding will be strategically used to facilitate Ovasave’s expansion into the Saudi Arabian market and the broader GCC region, enhance corporate partnerships, and support the development of its mobile application.
