Network International and Blu Penguin Partner to Boost Mobile Money Payments in Ghana
Network International, a prominent digital payment solutions provider in the Middle East and Africa, is joining forces with Blu Penguin, a Ghanaian fintech company, to integrate mobile money payment acceptance into Network’s N-Genius™ point-of-sale (POS) terminals throughout Ghana. This collaboration aims to significantly broaden financial inclusion and improve access to digital payment options across West Africa.
Expanding Digital Payment Accessibility
This partnership allows merchants utilizing N-Genius terminals in Ghana to seamlessly accept mobile money payments from all mobile money providers. This is particularly impactful as it caters to both banked and unbanked segments of the population, fostering a more inclusive financial ecosystem. According to Chinwe Uzoho, Regional Managing Director, Western Africa – Processing at Network International, “This partnership with Blu Penguin reinforces our commitment to advancing digital commerce and financial inclusion. It enhances our service offerings for banks by combining the strong mobile money processing capabilities of Blu Penguin with our infrastructure.”
This strategic alliance represents a significant step towards a more digitized and financially inclusive future for Ghana, leveraging the strengths of both companies to provide enhanced payment solutions for businesses and consumers alike. The integration of mobile money on N-Genius terminals promises to streamline transactions and promote greater participation in the formal economy.
