DVLA Modernises Vehicle Registration with Unveiling of Ultra-Modern Centre
Ghana’s Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) has taken a significant step towards modernizing its services with the launch of a premium ultra-center for licensing and vehicle registration. The new facility, offering expedited services, aims to provide a more comfortable and efficient experience for Ghanaians seeking DVLA services.
State-of-the-Art Facility Opens in Accra
The ultra-center, situated in a prime location on Ring Road West in Accra, is the result of a collaboration between the DVLA and VFS Global. During a media tour on Thursday, July 17, 2025, DVLA Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Foster Akwasi Asante, highlighted the state-of-the-art nature of the facility. He emphasized that the center aligns with the Authority’s policy of partnering with private businesses to enhance service delivery and improve accessibility for citizens.
This initiative reflects a broader trend in African nations to leverage technology and public-private partnerships to streamline government services and improve citizen experiences. The DVLA’s ultra-modern center promises a more efficient and convenient process for vehicle registration and licensing, marking a positive step forward in modernizing Ghana’s transportation sector.
