Bolt Introduces Family Accounts for Group Rides in Nigeria
Leading ride-hailing platform Bolt has launched a new “Family Profile” feature in Nigeria, enabling users to conveniently book and pay for rides for their loved ones. This innovative feature streamlines transportation for families and groups, offering greater control and flexibility.
Shared Account Convenience
The Family Profile allows a user to add up to nine family members, friends, or close relatives to a single, shared account. This “mega account” gives the primary account holder the ability to manage ride spending, track ride activity, and ensure safe transportation for those under their care. According to Bolt, this new feature provides families with improved visibility and control over their transportation expenses and coordination. Bolt’s Country Manager, Osi Oguah, emphasized the power of the Family Profile, highlighting its ability to assist those who may find it challenging to manage their own ride arrangements.
