SSNIT to Launch Virtual Office, Enhancing Service Delivery for Ghanaians
The Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) is taking a significant step towards modernizing its operations with the introduction of a virtual office, slated to be fully operational by the end of September 2025. This initiative aims to streamline processes for employers and provide easier access to SSNIT services for all contributors.
Bringing SSNIT Services to Your Doorstep
According to Director-General Kwesi Afreh Biney, speaking at an Employers’ Breakfast Meeting on July 16, 2025, the virtual branch is designed to deepen stakeholder engagement and offer a more convenient platform for fulfilling obligations. The virtual office will allow users to perform various tasks remotely, including registering, making payments, seeking information, and receiving timely responses, effectively eliminating the need for physical visits to a SSNIT branch. This digital transformation aligns with SSNIT’s broader vision of becoming a more responsive and accessible institution, ultimately simplifying compliance and improving the overall experience for both employers and contributors in Ghana.
