Orange Tunisie, SOS Villages d’Enfants Tunisie, and Auzy Mental Health Unite for a Safer Digital Future with #ForGoodConnections
Orange Tunisie, SOS Villages d’Enfants Tunisie, and Auzy Mental Health have forged a pivotal partnership under the banner of ForGoodConnections, demonstrating a profound commitment to fostering a safer and more responsible digital environment for young people across the nation. This innovative collaboration underscores the critical importance of digital literacy and well-being in an increasingly connected world, aiming to empower Tunisian youth with the essential knowledge and tools to navigate online spaces securely and constructively. The initiative highlights a shared understanding that expanding digital access necessitates robust education and protection against potential online harms.
Cultivating Digital Wellness and Resilience Across Tunisian Communities
The ForGoodConnections campaign was meticulously designed through a series of impactful, blended learning events. The first significant gathering took place on June 14, 2025, at the Orange Digital Center. This crucial session, in partnership with Auzy Mental Health, convened over 50 participants, including children, parents, and mental health professionals. Attendees engaged in a series of interactive workshops and discussions tackling critical digital safety topics. Key areas of focus included proactive prevention strategies against cyberbullying, effective identification of inappropriate online content, and understanding the psychological effects of hyper-connection, fostering a holistic approach to digital challenges.
Building on this momentum, a large-scale ForGoodConnections day was held on June 22, 2025. This vibrant event brought together more than 100 children, educators, and accompanying adults at the SOS Village d’Enfants d’Akouda in Sousse. Children from four SOS Villages d’Enfants locations—Tunis, Sousse, Sfax, and Siliana—actively participated in a specialized design thinking training. This hands-on session was specifically tailored to teach responsible digital practices. The morning’s intensive learning was complemented by an afternoon of engaging sports activities. These sessions were strategically designed to encourage healthy digital disconnection, foster teamwork, and promote active participation, reinforcing the message of balanced digital engagement. This unique combination of pedagogical learning and physical well-being activities ensured a comprehensive and impactful experience.
This two-pronged approach, integrating interactive workshops, insightful training, and dynamic well-being activities, serves as a powerful model for digital empowerment. By combining robust pedagogical methods with proactive prevention and a focus on overall well-being, Orange Tunisie, SOS Villages d’Enfants Tunisie, and Auzy Mental Health are effectively equipping a new generation to thrive safely and responsibly in the digital landscape. This alliance marks a significant stride towards ensuring that young Tunisians are not just users of technology, but informed, resilient, and responsible digital citizens.
