Kenyan-based Leta, a software startup specializing in logistics solutions for businesses, has officially entered the Ghanaian market, marking its seventh operational country, following a successful $5 million seed round in March 2025. This expansion underscores Leta’s commitment to providing efficient and automated supply chain and logistics solutions across the African continent. The company’s existing presence spans Kenya, Uganda, Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Zambia, and Mauritius, reflecting its ambitious pan-African expansion strategy.
Leta’s AI-Powered Logistics Solutions and Ghanaian Entry
Founded in 2021 by Nick Joshi, Leta focuses on developing software that streamlines the movement of goods. Its platform assists businesses in managing fleet operations, optimizing delivery routes, and reducing transportation expenses through the use of AI-driven tools. Joshi announced on Wednesday via LinkedIn that Leta is now live in Accra, Ghana, with its first customer, Simbisa Brands Limited. Simbisa Brands Limited is one of Africa’s largest quick-service restaurant groups and operates over 600 outlets across eleven countries. Leta’s arrival in Ghana is a significant step in its ongoing endeavor to become a leading logistics software provider across Africa, addressing the growing need for efficient and cost-effective methods of moving goods in challenging operating environments.
