The roll-out includes tax centers in El Khroub (Constantine) and Médéa, along with local tax offices in Ras el Ma (Sidi Bel Abbès), Hamam Bouhdjer (Aïn Temouchent), Kherrata (Béjaïa), Barika (Batna), Laghouat, Tamalous (Skikda), Debila (El-Oued), Bordj Bou Arreridj, Ghardaia, Ain el Bey (Constantine), and Metlili, Bounouara, and El- Guerrara (Ghardaia). The “JIBAYA’TIC” system is designed to significantly improve tax services by enabling taxpayers to complete procedures remotely, accurately, and easily. This move reflects a broader trend in Africa towards leveraging technology to enhance governance and public services.
The introduction of the “JIBAYA’TIC” system marks a significant step forward in Algeria’s efforts to modernize its tax administration and improve the overall experience for taxpayers. By embracing digital solutions, the DGI aims to create a more efficient, transparent, and accessible tax system for all.
