Ghana Telecom Summit 2011
Last April 28th, Kofi Annan Center of Excellence hosted the Ghana Telecom Summit 2011 which has been designed to discover vital business opportunities, and strategies for technology and ICT service to make sure market competitiveness is headway. BarCamp Cape Coast 2011
BarCamp Cape Coast 2011 has been a successful free networking event that brought people from across the continent together under a single roof for demos and round table discussion about Cape Coast and Ghana in general as well as other key issues affecting the African segment. Recently held last November 12, 2011 with a theme of “Harnessing IT education for local innovation and tourism development,” Bar Camp were attended by local experts at the New Lecture Theatre at the University of Cape Coast. Experts shared their knowledge on various technologies while successful innovators shared their stories to serve as examples for Bar Camp participants.
Tech4Africa is considered to be the mother of all tech events and conferences in Africa. This event brought together a number of the most respected and esteemed people in the technology industry for a day of sharing, teaching, and interaction with Africans. The event not only brought international experience into the African continent but it also showcased the African ingenuity when it comes to emerging technologies for mobile, web, and digital media.
Mobile VAS Africa Annual Conference 2012
Scheduled this coming May 14- 14, 2012, MVAS AFRICA, which stands for Mobile Value Added Services, aims to bring together all Mobile VAS market participants to explore upcoming technologies in the African continent that can match the market trends in Africa. The annual conference will also aim to identify methods for profit generation for a growing African market.
Roaming & Interconnect Africa Annual Conference
RIC Africa is an event that will draw together professionals for roaming and interconnect services from across the African continent. Scheduled this coming May 16- 17, 2012 at Johannesburg, the event was organized by ROAMIC and it will exploring future services and innovations while offering pragmatic solutions and first hand experiences on how to deliver them for a more effective and productive results.
