The woman who can’t have kids.

This is the story of a beautiful woman who had repeatedly failed to have a baby for many years.

She is really beautiful and her husband dream was to have with her the most beautiful kids in town.

Both have tried all ways but unsuccessfully. It became a shame for the woman as here in Togo, a woman without kids is considered a useless tree without fruit to be discarded, and a very shivering word ‘konon’ is used to insult or ostracize her in her family and in society.

In the end, she turned all her focus into business and become very successful. Now, she became the envy of other ladies in the neighborhood who would accuse her of a pact with the devil to whom she gives her babies in exchange of money and prosperity.

One day a quarrel exploded between her and an envious lady in the market. The envious lady called her ‘konon’, or a childless woman in front of the large crow attending the quarrel.

The lady felt so shameful, and ran away from the market crying uncontrollably. She went home to close herself in her room, crying for 3 days non-stop, refusing to eat, or drink.

The news went out about her condition, and tens of her clients poured to her door to console her. In the end she returned to her normal life, but found herself pregnant three months later.

Miracle! , miracle! , miracle !, all the people were shouting.

Nine months after the quarrel, she gave birth to her first child, and went on to have four children following that event.

Her story is well known in the city area, and she is center of all attention as the smiling lady always surrounded by her beautiful children.

After the birth of her first child, she went to a Vodun priest to wonder about what happened. She was told that her soul was not at peace with her, and she won’t have loved her kids if not the quarrel event and the three days soul soothing.

I met the lady yesterday. She is really beautiful and always wears a bright stunning smile
