The Rise of Racism in Europe is Good for Africa, and here is Why!

question-markMany africans in the diaspora returned to Africa because of the daily racism they face, and the lack of opportunity for them because they are black.

Many started their business, because of the ceiling glass, and lack of career perspective because of their skin color.

Many africans activists I know became activists, because they can’t bear anymore the poison of racism, exclusion and discrimination

Many other joined an African association or group the day after they have been molested by some racist thug.

Many more start valuing their culture, their origin the day after they have been told they are not from here, regardless of their citizenship card.

Many became writers and essayists because of the negative way the medias and the books talk about black people.

At this specific time of history, it seems to me that racism is having the positive effect of uniting Africans, energizing them, making them become more aware of the world they live in, and also becoming more bold and uncompromising in claiming their rights.

Do you think Africans need more racism to wake up?

People of color, have continued to be at the receiving end of all manner injustices and retribution after 3 centuries of slavery. Somehow we seem to always have something new to fight.
Most African's abroad have always held strong hopes of returning with the little they learnt and made to help in developing their birth countries. Racism doesn't seem to be the reason.

Theres 2 different types of racism though the one u see an the most dangerous the one u don't see. I say yes to the one u see but no to the hidden racism that is very dangerous, but u are correct the racism that we see going on is getting more people on the same page.

Africans just need to wake up!! Period!! Racism at times just works as a cattle prod or wake up call. It has the tendency to get us to "Act" or react as the case may be,sometimes we brush it off and go right back to sleep, assuming it's nothing but a nuisance that will go away on it's own by the time we wake up. I prefer that it continues to keep certain Africans on their toes, who have been blinded and misled about western nations by both the media, equally misguided friends and family, who think our survival, progress, advancement and economic development lies in the hands of white folks or white nations!! We all know the opposite is the case and that's the reality most of us choose not to face or deal with based on self-imposed naivety, ignorance and stupidity!!! It's time to call a spade,a spade and stop with the pretense!!

Mawuna Remarque Koutonin If that is what it will take, yes. This post made me feel so good, when have you ever heard anyone say racism makes them feel good? In this case here, it had people to stop look and listen, and feel the pain one last time, because they had decided to do something about it, and a good thing came out of it. I love you brother for putting out such great work, and being an Afurakan.

Hell no!!! Whites can kill the African, steal their resources, land, ect. infiltrate white supremacy throughout and subjugate the African globally, yet the African may think those are isolated cases, and not the collective. They think its some "good white folks"….while the majority of whites practice, maintain and support white supremacy/racism. We have enough history to show us what white folks are about….how much death and destruction does the African need to wake the hell up?!! White folks have literally destroyed the African and continue to do so…..what more do we need, he have death….destruction….that didn't wake the African up. The problem is with the African's mindset. It's a victim mentality, warped in low worth, low value and low self-esteem….and the desire to appease and be accepted by their exterminators.
