Obama Open Letter to Nigerians

I don’t know what to think about Barack Obama.

He has just sent an open letter to the Nigerians people asking them to “restrain from violence before, during and after elections”.

The intention is laudable. But did he do the same before elections in Indonesia, France, Israel or China?

I’m bothered by the condescending tone he uses when dealing with Africans. In that matter he is no different from white people who see Africans just like savages to be lectured, or like children to be talked to.

He misses no occasion to lecture publicly African Americans or African leaders. What he never does for other ethnic groups in the US or other world leaders.

I’m disappointed with the man.
